Charleston Forge

Charleston Forge is committed to providing you with exquisite furniture and exceptional service. We are nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina surrounded by a landscape of natural beauty. We draw our inspiration from these surroundings and have developed a product line that embodies simple elegance. We are pleased to present to you a sample of our products and look forward to producing furniture designed specifically for you. Charleston Forge began as a dream for owners Art and Susan Barber over twenty years ago. Opening a small retail store in Boone, North Carolina, they began selling handmade fireplace accessories and patio furniture. Seeking to grow their business, they also began manufacturing glass fireplace enclosures, and later, outdoor furniture. Finding this a highly competitive market dominated by large national companies, the Barbers soon switched their focus.

Building an original line of steel bakers racks and occasional furniture intended for indoor use, the Barbers began promoting their new products. They set up a temporary "showroom" in the hallway of Market Square in High Point, North Carolina, and began taking orders for their innovative designs.

From that humble beginning, Charleston Forge has grown into a multi-million dollar company that ships its quality iron furniture around the world. Employing over 200 people at seven different facilities, Charleston Forge continues to grow as a leader in the indoor metal segment of the furniture industry. This steady growth has been fueled by the Barber's belief that everyone involved with Charleston Forge is a member of a very large family. Within this family effort, Charleston Forge's employees are focused on producing and selling the highest quality metal furniture. Charleston Forge's success has always been guided by a strong commitment to family, a desire for quality, and an unswerving commitment to friendly and accessible customer service that is second to none.
